Single Flower

In times of uncertainty, transition, and unknowing, a unique doorway appears for inner work. There are feelings, experiences, visions, symbols, and images which are simply not available in times when things are clear and the status quo is intact.

There is a group of inner soul travelers within us that I sometimes refer to as the orphans of psyche and soma, who carry the unlived life on our behalf. They dwell in the psychic underworld, in an area within the spectrum of consciousness known as the shadow, the somatic unconscious, or in our neural networks, in subcortical and bodily circuitry.

It is from here, in a partly frozen and crystallized state, that they reach out to us – not to harm or take us down, or as an obstacle on our path, but as the very path itself. They long to find us and to return Home, to disclose their essence, and to help us find our way into the embodied felt experience of wholeness, connection, and Unity with all that is.

In times of liminality and in-between, there can be a unique opportunity to reconnect with these ones, to illuminate and hold them, and to enter into communion with them, which unveils a natural aliveness within us, the capacity to truly feel, to imagine, to dream, and fully participate in the reality of the sacred world.

Relationship with them removes the veil.

In this video and eBook, we’ll explore:

  • How times of liminality and transition offer a unique opportunity to accelerate individuation and healing
  • Reconnecting with inner pieces of soul who have become lost, frozen, and crystallized by way of trauma and emotional wounding
  • The reality of a group of internal companions unique to each of us – the “orphans of psyche and soma”
  • A short practice you can do each day to reconnect, reimagine, and revision your experience
  • How the soul is always speaking to us and pulling us into a felt sense of Wholeness and meaning
